so simple, she would be delighted to chair. |
| Then again the competition is outside the purview of
the faculty contract but naturally faculty have come forward to ask to be included on the
committee, the art history faculty have come forward, as have others willing to excuse
themselves from the competition including some although not all of the department chairs, if
there could be compromise here, at least the discussion of compromise.

Detecting the rumble of an approaching task force, the Senator requests a written proposal
detailing the composition, function and projected schedule for such committee or task force.
Until receiving the proposal and responding, the Senator will visit the studios and offices and
generally wander. As chaperone, the Senator's aide, Catesby, will suffice.
